Copyright
The use of materials protected by copyright is essential to the learning process. Educational resources exist in all formats that are recognised as 'works' in copyright law. What do you want to do?
- I want online advice on a specific question.
- I want to learn about copyright exceptions for education
- I want to reuse content
- I want to create my own content
Many academics prefer to use resources which they have not produced under the terms of copyright exceptions for education. However, it can be easier to search for and reuse open educational resources which are clearly licensed under schemes like Creative Commons. These licences spell out what you are allowed to do with each resource.
