Cyber Security Clinic
Would you like a better understanding of the different digital environments that exist and ensure your settings are protecting you? Do you feel like your child knows more than you do so you can’t help protect them in this digital age?
The Cyber Security Clinic, provided by Glasgow Caledonian University, will help you understand how it all works and provide you with the knowledge you need to ensure you are best protected in this digital age.
Our aim is to raise awareness of good cyber behaviours in the everyday lives of individuals within the Greater Glasgow community. We specialise in gaming, encryption, password management, spam emails and home network security, however, we can provide you with guidance in other areas of cyber security. You'll learn how to:
- Protect your information online
- Protect your family from online threats
- Embrace the digital age without worrying about the consequences.
Get advice
We offer an online service as well as one-to-one advice at our pop-up clinics in and around Glasgow City Centre throughout the year. All of the advice provided by our cyber student volunteers is supervised by staff from the University’s Department of Cyber Security and Networks.
If you would like to take advantage of this free clinic, or if you run a community group and would be interested in hosting the pop-up clinic for an event dedicated to your group or community, visit our Cyber Security Clinic blog.
