Introduction to MPLS VPNs
We are pleased to offer an Introduction to MPLS VPNs, a new two day course, aimed at IT professionals working with MPLS technologies. It is designed to equip them with a high level overview and practical experience needed to implement MPLS VPNs within a production environment. The course will be delivered using a blend of taught classes, live demonstrations, hands-on lab exercises and rack access to allow delegates to practice their newly acquired skills.
This is the first in a series of intensive short courses developed from our world-leading full/part-time MSc Advanced Internetwork Engineering (gcu.ac.uk/aie) programme which provides the knowledge and skills needed for Cisco CCIE certification and delivered in partnership with INE.com
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Understand the key components of MPLS and how they work together
- Configure customer routers to connect to the service provider network
- Configure LDP across a provider network
- Configure OSPF within the provider network
- Configure multiprotocol BGP to carry customer routing information across the provider network
- Configure CE-PE routing using common customer routing protocols
- Implement an end-to-end MPLS Layer 3 VPN using all the technologies mentioned above.
