The Gender Research and Equalities Network is a multi-disciplinary research group with 40+ research active members. We are united by our shared mission and vision.
The Mission of the Gender Research and Equalities Network is to contribute to the work of Glasgow Caledonian University through multi-disciplinary collaborations in gender research for the Common Good. Our vision is for our research to build social benefit with regard to gender equality, as stated in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Aim
Our aim is to facilitate cross-disciplinary discussion of gender and other inequalities in academic research. In doing so we aim to build a deeper knowledge and understanding of gender and intersectionality in the pursuit of the Common Good and reducing gender inequalities.
