Aim

For all children and families to be safe, happy, and thriving.

To ensure that all children have opportunities with the support of inclusive and engaging communities.

Summary

Home Start Glasgow North and North Lanarkshire (HSGNNL) provides practical and emotional support to families with at least one child under five. It aims to create long-term benefits for communities across the North of Glasgow and North Lanarkshire. HSGNNL recruits and trains volunteers to offer regular support that is tailored to individual family needs in their own home setting.
HSGNNL relies on a diverse network of collaborative partners to secure funds and draw from non-tangible resources and/or strengths, such as professional skillsets.

What difference does it make?

The project has made a positive difference to family wellbeing though its documented support of 192 families, 388 children and 132 groups in 2023 alone.
