Advisory Work
EIS Equity-Related Professional Learning Project
Professor McKendrick sits on the Advisory Board of this Scottish Government funded project, which aims to tackle poverty and the adverse consequences of poverty in Scotland’s schools.
North Lanarkshire Council’s Tackling Poverty Wider Reference Group
Professor McKendrick is a member of this group that advises on anti-poverty work in NLC.
North Ayrshire’s Council’s Fair for All Commission
Professor McKendrick is a Civic Commissioner of this group that are exploring issues of social justice in North Ayrshire.
Carnegie Trust Affordable Credit Working Group
Professor McKendrick is a member of this group that is working toward changing the credit landscape for low income households in Scotland.
Bright Blue’s Attitudes to social security reform in Scotland
Professor McKendrick has been invited to join the Advisory Group for this JRF-funded research project.

Professor Sinclair is a member of the UK CPAG Policy Committee, and the CPAG Scotland Advisory Committee.
Scottish Affairs Committee, UK Parliament
Professor McKendrick was invited to give oral evidence on September 10th 2019 to the parliamentary enquiry into Welfare policy in Scotland.
