Jodie joined GCU having studied English and Business at the Advanced Higher Hub while in her sixth year at Springburn Academy. Jodie’s scholarship will enable her to take advantage of opportunities to study and work abroad, helping her to make the most of her International Marketing studies.

She aims to work for a business with a strong and positive influence on the world.

Ever since I was young I dreamt of going to University, but as I got older I realised that there were expenses that could be overwhelming to someone like me. It’s easy to misjudge and look down upon people from a school like mine - as if we are not able to succeed in life - but this scholarship is helping prove that everyone, when given equal opportunity, can meet their goals and ambitions.
