Waste Composition
The University’s commitments to safeguarding the environment include producing less waste through waste minimisation, re-use and recycling opportunities. To achieve this, the University has a Circular Economy Plan that identifies waste composition analysis (WCA) as a mechanism for developing a better understanding of its waste: volume, sources and types of materials.
The WCA is carried out approximately every year by students of the Environmental Assessment module from the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment. Audit reports are available followingly:
