If you have unwanted furniture, you can list it on Warp It, the University’s furniture sharing portal. Our Warp It portal helps release value from surplus resources by linking unwanted materials with individuals in like-minded organisations looking for similar materials and in the process delivers huge financial and environmental benefits.

All you need to do is:

• Register to the University's Warp It portal.
• Take pictures of the items that you want to list and make sure you have the measurements of the items.
• You can add items under 'My Items' section by clicking 'Add An Item' or 'Bulk Add Items'.
• Make sure that you add a description of the items, including images and dimensions.
• You can specify when the item will become available for collection and to maximise the chance of it being claimed, you’re encouraged to list items as soon as possible. For further instructions on how to create a listing, please see the Warp It website.

If the items you list aren’t claimed within the University or its wider sharing network, contact the FMD Helpdesk to arrange for it to be removed and recycled.
