The Widening Participation and Outreach department consists of four teams: GCU Connect, College Connect, the Caledonian Club and Routes for All. We cover the areas of outreach, widening participation, articulation and transition support within partner schools, colleges and for Care Experience or Estranged students at GCU.
GCU Connect
GCU Connect is part of Glasgow Caledonian's Widening Participation and Outreach department. We work in partnership with 31 secondary schools across Glasgow and its surrounding areas. Our aim is to inspire and support educational pathways beyond school for senior phase pupils. Our activities showcase the breadth of opportunities in higher education, clearly demonstrating their progression routes; to help inform pupils about the diverse range of careers open to them.
