Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training for First Aiders

This half day course provides First Aid staff with the skills in adult basic life support and the use of an AED (automated external defibrillator). Individual and teamwork will be used to build skills and confidence in the use of AEDs.

This 1 Day course trains selected personnel to carry out the duties of a Fire Warden.
Training will be in line with the employee’s obligation to comply with The Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, which became law in October 2006.
