Encryption
As per section 4.1.7 of the Universities Information Systems Policy :-
“Staff must not save files that contain personally identifiable information (i.e.: names, addresses, telephone numbers, etc and other personal details) to any storage format (other than the University Network) that is unencrypted. The University has an encryption process for laptops, desktops and mobile devices. Staff who require their storage format to be encrypted should contact the IT Helpdesk. Personally identifiable information may only be used for the business of the University and under the auspices of the University Data Protection Guidelines.”
