Strategy, Planning and Business Intelligence

The role of Strategy, Planning and Business Intelligence within GCU covers a range of activities related to the student journey and University performance. Across the team, we:

• Produce, analyse and communicate information relating to the student body, including student performance, profile and numbers
• Work with Scottish Funding Council to agree objectives for the University’s Outcome AgreementsMonitor progress against these objectives and GCU key performance indicators
• Monitor how GCU is perceived to perform in the sector, through analysing UK League Tables
• Conduct market research to inform programme development
• Coordinate statutory data returns to a range of external agencies, and
• Provide advice and guidance on issues such as policy and legislative developments, student data and strategic planning, to inform decision making across the institution
