During the academic term a full service is provided between the months of January to April and September to December. Out with term clinical staff are available for sight tests, visual stress assessments and the ordering of spectacles and contact lenses.
Payments can be made in cash or by card. Unfortunately we are unable to accept payments by American Express.
There is currently no option to pay by direct debit.
Generally, patients can self-refer to any of our specialist clinics including the visual stress and colour vision clinics. For some specialist investigations a referral by a health care professional is preferred as this provides our clinicians with details of previous eye examinations.

For the majority of our appointments, you will be seen by a student who will be supervised by an experienced member of clinical staff. In some of the specialist clinics students work in pairs or small groups.
We collect and process patients’ personal data for healthcare purposes, including appointment reminders, and for marketing purposes with your consent. This means we can tell you about eye care products and services that may be relevant to you. If you do not want us to process your personal data for marketing purposes, please let us know and we will stop.
