GCU Chancellor announced as speaker at Scotland’s biggest TEDx event
The University Chancellor Dr Annie Lennox OBE is to give a speech at the renowned TED talk series in Glasgow next month.
The TEDxGlasgow event will welcome 2,000 attendees to the SEC Armadillo on Friday, June 14, and will provide a platform to present ideas focused on the theme of Connection.
The Chancellor is set to talk about global feminism and will be joined by a host of inspirational speakers, including Baroness Helena Kennedy QC and Skyscanner's former chief operating officer Mark Logan.
Dr Lennox, one of the world's most influential Human Rights campaigners, is a truly committed advocate of global feminism and recorded a short video message for the University to help mark International Women's Day in March.
