British School of Fashion unveils case study collection
Research expertise from GCU's British School of Fashion will be showcased to students and academics worldwide under a new partnership with the publishing house Bloomsbury.
Teaching toolkits featuring real-world examples of sustainable luxury and socially conscious fashion will be available through the digital platform Bloomsbury Fashion Business Cases.
Learning packs designed to support the next generation of fashion leaders, studying in the US, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific, will also be available to download.
The first batch of engaging case studies created by the team at the BSOF includes an analysis of Stella McCartney's approach to sustainable luxury and a look at how the charity Save the Children moved into designer retail.
The live examples offer students a unique insight into the business decisions made by fashion companies and bridge the gap between education and the industry.
