University statement on Scottish Government SQA announcement

Glasgow Caledonian University has made the following statement after the Scottish Government today agreed to accept teacher estimates of scores for SQA exams.

“The Scottish Government will make provision for enough places in universities to ensure no-one is denied a place they would otherwise have been awarded.

“Glasgow Caledonian University is working with the Scottish Government and the Scottish Funding Council to agree the next steps. We would urge all applicants to continue to engage with our admission teams, once they have received their revised certificates.”
