Book now for GCU Fashion Showcase 2023

GCU Fashion Showcase returns to campus on June 1 with one of its most creative collections.

Featuring a catwalk show, digital exhibition, and garments designed for live industry projects, GCU Urban will showcase designs created by some of Glasgow Caledonian's most talented students.

The 2023 collection includes designs inspired by architecture and the geometric shapes and bright colours of the avant-garde Cubist movement.

A range of contemporary streetwear fashion garments, using tartan fabrics from MacGregor and MacDuff, will be showcased as part of a design brief to bring tartan to a new audience.

And, ahead of the 200th anniversary of world-famous coat maker Mackintosh in 2024, our student designers have created contemporary capsule collections, in keeping with the historic brand.

Meanwhile, the digital exhibition will showcase innovative fashion branding with magazines, lookbooks and visual merchandise schemes.

Hosted by TV presenter Sophie Wallace, GCU Urban will culminate with a networking reception, drinks and a live DJ set.
