Business degrees awarded highly prestigious accreditation
Glasgow School for Business and Society has secured a highly prestigious five-year accreditation for its flagship Business degrees.
The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) has granted reaccreditation to Glasgow Caledonian's BA (Hons) Business Management and the BA (Hons) International Business programme until at least 2029.
The global body has awarded the accreditation, a hallmark of international quality, for the maximum term of five years, indicating confidence in the standards and achievements of the programmes and the students studying on them.
Dr Shirley Rate, Dean of GSBS, said: "Receiving a five-year accreditation is a great milestone for the School. It reaffirms our commitment to excellence in management education, ensuring that our programmes meet the highest international standards.
"It also reflects the dedication of our colleagues who have provided a world-class educational experience and equipped our graduates with the skills needed to excel in today's dynamic business environment."
Susan Laurenson, Chair of the EFMD Programme Accreditation Board, added: "The Board commends Glasgow School for Business and Society for its values-driven organisation that serves the Common Good through its mission and vision, and the strong faculty commitment to supporting students' success.
"We wish you every success in your plans for the future development of the programme."
