Celebrating Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2023
Glasgow Caledonian will celebrate Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2023 with a series of events with employers, colleges and schools.
As the largest provider of Graduate Apprenticeships in Scotland, we work collaboratively with employers to offer life-changing opportunities to more than 270 Graduate Apprentices.
Scottish Apprenticeship Week, which runs from March 6-10, will this year showcase the vital role apprenticeships play in supporting people, employers and the economy.
On Monday, March 6, Glasgow Caledonian will kick off the week with two interactive workshops in Cambuslang with our industry partner IDSystems UK to promote Graduate Apprenticeship opportunities in Engineering (Design and Manufacture).

On Tuesday, March 7, the University will be represented at an event run by the Student Loans Company (SLC) in Glasgow to highlight earning and learning opportunities in Technology.
In the afternoon, we will be working with West Lothian College to promote the range of GA programmes we offer.
On Wednesday, March 8, Glasgow Caledonian will take part in Scottish Engineering’s Unlocking Potential Through Apprenticeships event in Glasgow, discussing our BEng Hons Engineering (Design and Manufacture) and BSc Hons Environmental Civil Engineering programmes.
In the afternoon, we’re proudly hosting a GA event for senior secondary school pupils on our Glasgow campus.
Working in partnership with industry partners, including Aggreko, Accenture, Bridgeall and McLaughlin & Harvey, we will bring the world of work and Graduate Apprenticeships to life for more than 120 pupils.
And on Thursday, March 9, we’ve been invited to take part in an event with Morgan Stanley, to promote our Master of Accountancy and BSc Hons AI & Data Science Graduate Apprenticeship programmes, helping teachers from 18 schools across Scotland to understand the benefits of applied teaching and learning in the workplace.
Glasgow Caledonian offers Graduate Apprenticeships in civil engineering, quantity surveying, engineering design manufacture, accountancy, business management, AI and data science, cyber security, and software development.
