Dr Tessa Hartmann appointed Honorary President of the British School of Fashion
Dr Tessa Hartmann CBE has been appointed Honorary President of the British School of Fashion.
The renowned brand strategist, creative communications consultant, and media commentator brings 25 years of luxury brand marketing experience to the role.
Based at the London campus of Glasgow Caledonian University, the British School of Fashion is home to GCU’s distinctive portfolio of fashion, luxury and fashion business programmes.
Focused on the ‘buy better buy less often’ philosophy, the School strives to develop a future workforce focused on driving a more sustainable and ethical fashion industry.
Dr Hartmann, who co-founded the creative marketing and brand agency Hartmann House, said: "I look forward to working with GCU to help build on its strong fashion business heritage and grow our network of like-minded industry changemakers.
"Together we want to widen access and ensure we have a diverse and inclusive talent pipeline from all backgrounds. We want to empower our students with the skills, networks and confidence to help drive a positive shift in our relationship with clothes, creating a fashion industry for the Common Good.”
