Glasgow School for Business and Society has been recognised as a world leader in social impact and sustainability.

GSBS achieved Level 4: Transforming School status in the Positive Impact Ratings 2022, the second-highest award.

The student-based ratings, announced at the UN PRME Global Forum, measure the positive impact of business schools across the globe.

GSBS was one of 45 business schools from 21 countries worldwide to take part in the ratings this year.

More than 170 GCU students assessed how the school addresses societal challenges and prepares its graduates to be responsible business leaders, in a survey led by the Students’ Association.

The rating survey asks students 20 questions across seven relevant impact areas.

Professor John Lennon, Dean of GSBS, said: "The evaluation indicates we are successfully transforming our provision, generating a positive impact culture and making real progress across our systems and governance.

"We will continue to progress on this journey as the University for the Common Good with our institutional commitment to the UN Sustainable Goals at the heart of our teaching, learning, research and community."
