Masterclass with Dr David Duke MBE
Glasgow Caledonian honorary graduate and award-winning entrepreneur Dr David Duke MBE will be on our Glasgow campus on Wednesday, November 22, for an exclusive Masterclass.
David will share details of the projects he is working on to improve the lives of those facing society's biggest challenges.
David is the founder and CEO of Street Soccer Scotland and Street Soccer London, a non- profit social enterprise that uses football to help create positive change in the lives of disadvantaged adults and young people.
His most recent venture, Change Centre Scotland, is a sport and education centre with a vision to tackle isolation and homelessness, and to support mental health and wellbeing.
In 2018, David was awarded an MBE for services to football and charity. He is an advisory board member for UNICEF (Scotland) and an advisor to the AR26 charity, which was founded by Scotland captain and Liverpool FC player Andy Robertson.
Our Masterclass series brings world-class speakers to the University to share expertise and ideas, encouraging discussion and debate.
During his Masterclass, David will also discuss his exceptional career journey, what drives his entrepreneurial flair and his commitment to helping others. His talk will be followed by a Q&A.
It will take place from 5pm to 7.30pm on November 22.
