A team of students from Glasgow Caledonian are in the semi-finals of the business simulation contest The Universities Business Challenge.

Competitors act as company directors during the online inter-university challenge, making strategic decisions that affect financial performance and contribute towards the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

Twelve Business Management students from Glasgow Caledonian took part in the challenge, designed to develop employability and enterprise skills, and one team progressed to the semi-final stage.

The successful students amassed a paper profit of £18.1m after five trading periods.

The next stage of the competition will take place in Coventry in March.
