Chloe is a software developer at CGI, a global IT and business consulting services company. She discovered her passion for tech in high school, thanks to an inspiring female teacher.

Chloe chose a career in tech where she could learn and grow. She overcame the challenges of being a young woman in a male-dominated industry with the support of her mentors and co-workers at CGI. She became a finalist in the 2020 Scottish Apprenticeship Awards for her outstanding work and skills. She mentors other apprentices, recruits more female developers, and speaks to young people about the benefits of apprenticeships.

Chloe is a trailblazer and a role model for women in tech.  She said: "I am delighted to accept this award and to celebrate the partnership I've built with GCU whilst studying but also post-graduation. I'm so grateful to have had many opportunities to work with GCU in promoting Graduate Apprenticeships and celebrating women in tech.

"The support and encouragement I received from the University helped to build my confidence and overall has lead me to be successful in the tech industry."
