Tabitha is a graduate of Applied Psychology who works as the Race Equality Charter Project Officer at GCU. She is passionate about race equality and child literacy and has led many anti-racism and pro-diversity campaigns and initiatives.
She has also received several awards for her social impact projects in Kenya and Scotland, such as rebuilding a library, creating a cultural module, and campaigning against tribalism.
She is the Co-Founder of Kosi Africa and the Programme Director of Beyond My Tribe. Tabitha is also a board member of the Scottish Fair Trade Forum, and is a champion of the University’s Common Good mission.
She said: "I am deeply honoured and humbled by the nomination for Alumni of the Year at Glasgow Caledonian University. This recognition serves as a reminder of the incredible journey and lasting connections that this institution has given me. It's a testament to the power of education, and I am forever grateful for the opportunities and growth it has provided.
