Bharti Dhruw

Bharti’s journey from Glasgow Caledonian to working with cloud technologies has been nothing short of dynamic—quite literally, with her expertise in Dynamics 365, Power Automate, and Azure!

Since graduating with a Global Master of Business Administration in 2023, Bharti joined automation company Synapx, working on numerous impactful projects in her role as Power Platform Analyst.

Now, she’s streamlining business processes and proving that with the right mix of hard-work and passion, the sky— or rather, the cloud—is the limit!

Bharti knew that a solid academic foundation was vital in securing a successful career for herself and promptly decided that studying at Glasgow Caledonian would fulfil her eagerness to learn.

“I chose to study at Glasgow Caledonian University because of its strong reputation for combining academic excellence with practical learning.

“Additionally, the Global MBA program offered a well-rounded curriculum, focusing on global business challenges and leadership, which aligned perfectly with my career aspirations.

Her time at university was filled with incredible memories, some of which stand out as experiences which shaped her personally and professionally.

“One of the highlights was collaborating with classmates from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds during group projects—it really broadened my perspective and honed my teamwork skills.

“I also appreciated the interactive lectures and hands-on learning opportunities which made the concepts come alive, and participating in university events and exploring the beautiful city of Glasgow added a special touch to my student life.

“The supportive faculty and the friendships I made during the program are moments I will always cherish.

“A standout lesson was the concept: diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance.

“It taught me the value of not just being part of a group but actively contributing and feeling valued within it.”

After graduating, Bharti accepted a job at Synapx, a technology consulting and solutions company. She has since worked on stimulating projects and earned certifications which helped her expand her expertise in cloud technologies.

“My career journey has been both exciting and fulfilling. I initially joined Synapx, where I delved into automation and workflow optimization using Power Automate and Power Platform technologies.

“I’ve worked on various impactful projects, such as designing Approval flows and automating website lead submissions using Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.

“My work has focused on enhancing business processes and delivering efficient, innovative solutions, allowing me to grow both technically and professionally.”

Reflecting on her own career journey, Bharti’s advice to aspiring students is to “stay curious and embrace lifelong learning.”

“Technology evolves rapidly, so be open to exploring new tools and platforms, and focus on building a strong foundation in problem-solving, as it will help you approach challenges creatively.

“Don't be afraid to take on projects that push you out of your comfort zone—this is where the real growth happens.

“Finally, invest in certifications and hands-on experience, as they demonstrate your skills and keep you ahead in the industry. Remember, your journey is unique, so trust the process and stay determined!”
