The Work Experience Hub provides you with a ‘one-stop-shop’ gateway to around 200 on-campus and part-time paid work experience opportunities at Glasgow Caledonian University. By undertaking a work experience role, you will be able to gain essential skills that employers value through opportunities such as:
- Mentoring
- Student ambassadors
- On-campus internships
- Part-time opportunities
- Student helpers
- Library support
- Open Day helpers and more.
The Hub is part of the Careers Service, which gives you easy access to the full range of resources, expertise and advice available at GCU. The Careers Team can assist and support you to make the most of your career development and employability.
The Work Experience Hub also provides support and advice to schools and departments on all aspects of on-campus student employment, to ensure consistency and good practice across the institution.
To see all current on-campus opportunities, visit CareerHub@GCU and log in using your GCU student login. Once in the system you will find all on-campus jobs under the ‘On Campus Recruitment’ category. We will also advertise current vacancies at the Work Experience Hub.
The Work Experience Hub is part of the Careers Service which is located in the Campus Life Lounge, Level 1, George Moore Building.
