Registration

Prior to visiting the reading room you should have completed an online registration form. You should keep a copy of this to remind you of the conditions of access you have agreed to. The centre keeps the original form as a note of your agreement with us to compile statistics relating to the use of our archives and special collections, to remain aware of current research interests, and to maintain current contact details for our researchers. The forms are destroyed when they are ten years old. You will be required to complete a new reader registration form every academic year (August-July).

On your first visit, you will be asked to prove your identity. Acceptable forms of photographic proof include student card, driving licence and passport.

You will be asked to sign a visitors' log each time you visit the reading room.
