Study abroad as part of your degree
Your student years represent a great chance to stretch your wings and experience new things. Taking part of your course abroad impresses future employers, teaches you valuable life skills and provides lasting memories and friendships. You could even learn a new language.
We offer opportunities for Glasgow Caledonian students to gain international experience through either semester-long exchanges or short-term opportunities.
The next running application round is for semester or year-long exchanges in Academic Year 2025/2026. Applications will be open to current Year 2 students wishing to apply for an exchange in Year 3.
Applications will open on 27 January 2025 and close on 7 February 2025.
For more information about study abroad opportunities and how to apply, Glasgow Caledonian students should enrol in the GCU Learn Organisation for Outgoing Exchange Students.
Short-term opportunities
If you are unable to commit to a long-term exchange, or if you’d like to sample what it’s like to study abroad before committing to an exchange, we have lots of exciting short-term opportunities for you.
