Nomination

Nominations should be sent by your home institution (where applicable) to incomingstudents@gcu.ac.uk . If you intend to study at Glasgow Caledonian for a single-semester or full year outside of the support of another higher education institution, you should nominate yourself via the same email inbox.
The deadlines for nominations for studying at Glasgow Caledonian as a free-mover are as follows:
For Trimester A or full year - 1 May For Trimester B - 1 October

The International Partnerships Office (IPO) at Glasgow Caledonian will send you our online application details after the nomination period has passed, along with information about applying for accommodation. As part of the application, you will need to upload:
Official transcript of records clearly stating the home institution's name, dated within the previous 12 months, and in the English language A copy of an active passport (ID cards will not be accepted) Proof of English languageFor students studying for a single semester (less than six months), we can accept a supporting letter from the sending institution that confirms appropriate English language levels (CEFR equivalent of B2 or above). For students studying for over six months, please see our English Language Requirements webpage for the certificates we can accept. Letter of Motivation (500 words) The application deadline for Tri A and Full Year exchange is 15 May. For Tri B exchange, the application deadline is 15 October.
Approval

After the application deadline, all applications will be reviewed by the International Partnerships Office.
Where successful, we will then send you an official offer letter, details about applying for a visa if necessary, and other useful information about life at Glasgow Caledonian.
