Academic support
Academic Librarians support student learning by providing subject specific classes, one to one support and access to online resources.
Teaching
We can embed library classes and workshops in your programme or module, enabling students to find and use high-quality academic resources. We can also support students to create and manage their references.
In addition to live classes, we can provide asynchronous content such as videos and worksheets. We have also created subject guides to help students find subject-specific guidance.
Student feedback indicates that the most effective session is a hands-on workshop tailored to a current assignment, and that induction week is too early for students to effectively absorb this information. Get in touch and we can discuss the best option for your students.
Resource Lists
We can help you create or update your resource list, ensuring your resources are added to the library collection for students to access. We can also advise on how to use our resource list software to make an effective list.
Get in touch
We’re happy to meet any staff to discuss how the Library can support your teaching and research by embedding Library sessions and providing materials.
