Temporary Registration Staff

We are looking for temporary staff to be part of our registration helpdesk. This role will involve assisting students with all stages of their registration and answering any queries they may have, as well as issuing student cards and checking documents both virtually and in person.

Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work quickly and accurately under pressure. You should be enthusiastic and well motivated with excellent timekeeping a must. Full training will be provided.

All successful applicants will be invited to a short interview. The rate of pay will be £12 per hour. Staff will work 25-30 hours per week from 5 September to 19 September, which may include some weekend work.

You must be available for the staff training day on Thursday, 5 September, and available for work on Mondays/Tuesdays both weeks. The roles are based on our Glasgow campus and hybrid working will not be available.

Student Visa holders must keep to the conditions of their visa, so will only be appointable if this is during an approved vacation period where you can work over 20 hours.

The closing date for applications is 31 July 2024. Interviews will be held in mid-August.
