The Open University – You and your money - An important aspect of personal finance is understanding how people and households manage their debt, how much it costs and the different types of credit they can or cannot access. This free course, explores these issues, with respect to the wider, changing, social and economic context.Which ? - provides extremely helpful listed articles on saving money. They are a non-profit, so don't take any funding from brands and they have great short clips on Tiktok and other social media channels that show you the best way to buy and maintain your products.Money Advice Scotland - Scotland’s money charity that offers webinars and advice on all things consumer finance. They also have a Tiktok account.

Our team will be attending pop-up events around campus during teaching weeks to answer any money management, funding or scholarship questions;
Tuesday, 4 February: Library main entrance 11.30am-1pm Thursday, 13 February: Govan Mbeki foyer 12noon-1.30pm Tuesday, 18 February: Annie Lennox foyer 1pm-2pm Tuesday, 4 and Thursday 6 March: Campus Life Lounge 11am-2pm Part of National Student Money Week. Additionally, along with our general funding/scholarship drop-in times we offer a free money-management-specific drop-in in the Campus Life Lounge every Thursday from 2-3pm during teaching weeks.
