Catholic Chaplain

Father Gareth Thomas provides Catholic chaplaincy support to all students and staff at GCU. Gareth is originally from Wales and is now based in St Mungo's Church, a short walk from the university.

Mass Service

Mass will take place in room three of the Faith and Belief Centre at 12:10pm every Thursday.

Gareth will also host weekly meetings for students in Room three of the Faith and Belief Centre every Thursday from 5-6pm starting on the 27^th October.

Gareth will celebrate holy days throughout the year on campus. These may be held elsewhere on campus to accommodate more people. The next holy day will be on Tuesday 1^st November and mass will be held at 8:15am in Campus Life Seminar Room 1 and at 5:15pm in the Faith & Belief Centre (Room 3).

To access the Faith and Belief Centre, you will need to swipe your student or staff card which can be activated at the GCU Security Office. More information can be found on the Faith and Belief Centre web pages.

Passionist Young Team

A group of international students and young professionals, called the Passionist Young Team, continues to meet every Wednesday evening at 7pm in St Mungo's for prayer, talks and friendship.
