When purchasing an online monthly membership which automatically renews, you will provide the 16 digit card number, expiry date and three digit signature strip code - this is not a direct debit (as direct debits use the account number and sort code).
It is important to note that if the payment card used to initially purchase the membership expires or is otherwise replaced (eg due to being lost), this will cause membership cancellation due to non-payment as the 16 digit card number, the expiry date and three digit signature strip code will no longer be valid.
Using the change payment details function when logged into Worldpay unfortunately won't have any effect.
To renew your membership with a new payment card, you will need to go through the online membership purchase process.
Any membership purchased at the ARC reception desk will not automatically renew .
Non-payment

If we are unable to obtain payment, for your monthly online membership which automatically renews, on your designated payment date (eg 7th), a second attempt will be made to take payment on the 8th and, failing that, a final attempt on the 9th. Your membership will be cancelled after three unsuccessful attempts to obtain payment.

If your most recent membership has expired and you want to change to a different membership, all you need to do is purchase a membership either online or from the ARC reception desk.

If your most recent membership is still active and you want to change to a different membership, you can continue with your current membership until it expires then purchase a different membership.

Only monthly memberships purchased online and which automatically renew need to be cancelled (see above) as all others will automatically expire.

Monthly membership payments are for the month ahead so must be cancelled before the payment date (ie 7th, 14th, 21st or 28th) in order to not be charged. If a membership is cancelled on the payment date, eg 21st, it is highly likely that the payment is being processed so it won't be cancelled in time to stop the payment - no refund will be given in this circumstance.
How to cancel

Follow these steps to cancel the payment for your online monthly membership which automatically renews:
Go to Worldpay and login: if the default password, or other password if the default was changed, has been forgotten go to Worldpay password reminder and select an option from the drop-down menu then provide your email address. If you are not able to login to cancel your membership from the above steps, email ARC specifically requesting cancellation of your membership and include the following: full name date of birth the agreement ID - this is found in your confirmation email from Worldpay.

If a membership is cancelled before the very first payment, the membership will expire immediately.
Eg, a membership purchased on 9 November, with a payment date of the 14th of each month, that is cancelled on 13 November will expire immediately. If a membership is cancelled after the very first, or subsequent payment, the membership will expire on the date the membership was purchased but for the next month.
Eg, a membership purchased on 9 November, with a payment date of the 14th of each month, that is cancelled on 15 November will expire on 9 December.
