If you do not have internet access on your device, please use the following guidance to connect to our gcu-wifi-setup network that will allow you to connect to eduroam.
When on Glasgow Caledonian campus, search for and connect to the wireless network called gcu-wifi-setup. Open a web browser and a web page with connection instructions will open up:

Go to https://cat.eduroam.org/ Click Download your eduroam installer Apple device You will be prompted to allow cat.eduroam.org to download a file. Click Allow A pop-up on the upper right of the screen will ask if you want to install the eduroam profile. Click the Apple logo , system preferences , profiles Click Install... under the Profiles window, enter your systems username and password to approve install Enter your login credentials - Students: username {username}@caledonian.ac.uk and password Staff: username {username}@gcu.ac.uk and password You will now be connected to eduroam when on campus or in an eduroam-supported location

Switch on your Chromebook Select your language and keyboard language from the top two menus In the third menu select 'eduroam' In EAP method select PEAP In EAP Phase 2 authentication select MSCHAPv2 Leave Server CA certificate as Default Domin suffix match enter gcu.ac.uk In Identity type your email address {username}@caledonian.ac.uk if you are a student {username}@gcu.ac.uk if you are a staff member and enter your password. Leave Anonymous Identity as blank Ensure the Save identity and password option is checked and click Connect Once enabled, click Continue You are now connected to the eduroam wireless network.
