The interview panel should advise you at the end of the interview when you can expect to hear the outcome. This should take no longer than 5 working days, if so we would endeavour to email you to let you know about the delay and give you an expected timescale.
Successful candidates will be contacted with confirmation that you are the preferred candidate and the formal offer, along with the contract of employment will be sent thereafter. Please note that all offers are subject to receipt of satisfactory references, evidence of eligibility to work in the UK and sight of relevant, essential qualifications; successful candidates will also be required to be deemed medically fit to undertake their role.
UK immigration legislation, in particular the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, is intended to prevent illegal working in the UK. To comply with this, Glasgow Caledonian University is required to request evidence of right to work in the UK from all successful candidates prior to commencing employment.
Vacancies are open to all candidates who meet the relevant criteria and decisions are not made about candidates suitability based on nationality. All offers of employment are made on a conditional basis, subject to all individuals demonstrating eligibility to live and work in the UK.
