The library has a variety of different bookable spaces available, from group study pods and rooms to individual study desks. You do not need to book a space to study in the library but those who wish to guarantee a space can book below.
Please note: You will receive a confirmation email when you make a booking. You must check in using the link in the confirmation email once you are inside the study space. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your booking and you may need to vacate the space for another user with a valid booking.

You will receive a confirmation email when you make a booking. You must check in using the link in the confirmation email once you are inside the study space . Failure to do so will result in the loss of your booking and you may need to vacate the space for another user with a valid booking. Please contact us if you are running late, bookings will be automatically cancelled after 15 minutes. Booking limits: Maximum of three hours per booking Users may make a maximum of two bookings per booking week (please note the booking week runs from Sunday to Saturday). Study spaces are not to be used to store items while attending lectures; unattended items will be taken to Security. If you repeatedly fail to attend your booking without cancelling you may be blocked from making further bookings. Bookings must be made by and attended by the primary user, are non-transferable, and failure to comply may lead to cancellation and future booking restrictions. Please vacate the space promptly at the end of your booking, removing any rubbish.
How do I use the booking system?

Click on one of the booking links above. Above the booking calendar select the required date for your booking. In the booking calendar available spaces will display as green. Click on the space(s) you would like to book. Default bookings are for three hours, however you can reduce this to one or two hours depending on your requirements. Once you have made your selection scroll to the bottom of the screen and click 'Submit times'. You may be prompted to sign-in with your domain username and password. A summary of your booking will display. Check the details are correct. Click 'Remove' if you need to edit the booking or click 'Continue' if everything is correct. On the final confirmation screen click 'Submit my booking' to confirm your reservation. You will receive a confirmation email when you make a booking. Click the ‘Make another booking’ button to make any additional bookings.
How do I cancel a booking?

If for any reason you are unable to make use of your booked study space, please cancel your reservation so that other users can make use of the space.
To cancel a booking:
Click on the cancellation link in your confirmation email A list of all your bookings will be displayed. Use the 'cancel booking' buttons to cancel one or more of your reservations. Use the 'cancel all bookings' button to cancel all your reservations. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, please contact the library to request cancellation of your reservation.
