SCONUL

The SCONUL Access scheme allows you to use other university libraries at no cost. This may be useful if you need a place to study when the London campus is closed or if you are visiting another city in the UK.

Applying for SCONUL Access

SCONUL membership is for one year and may include borrowing privileges. You're not normally able to use IT facilities (computers and printers) at other university libraries. You may be able to use eduroam WiFi.

Complete the SCONUL online application, select which library you would like to use and then wait for the approval email from GCU London Library with further details. Once your application has been approved you can use any of the libraries listed on the SCONUL Access website, you don’t need to reapply to SCONUL for each library.

Things to remember when selecting a library and planning your visit:

Check the location and hours before you go, and whether the library has any restrictions on SCONUL visitors on that day. Phone the library if you have any questions.
