Winter break 2024-25: services and support for students
This year the University’s winter break will begin at 5pm on Monday, 23 December, with all buildings and services re-opening at 9am on Thursday 2 January.

Support is still available over the Festive break. Here is a list of resources and arrangements available outside of service operating hours:
- 24/7/365 support through Togetherall, an award-winning digital, online global community, where individuals can access support from trained professionals
- London Students' Nightline is a confidential and anonymous telephone, text, and online listening and information service run by trained students for the students of GCU London and other universities in London and the South East. Nightline is open for phone calls from 7pm until 7am
- Crisis supportfrom the NHS24, Emergency Services, Samaritans, Breathing Space, HOPELineUK
- The Student Wellbeing Service has a bank of self-help resources including apps, podcasts, videos and online courses
- Business Continuity Processes are in place for critical incidents involving students
