Anne joined us as Academic Development Tutor at GCU London in April 2018. She provides one-to-one tutorials in academic skills and teaches skills development workshops.
Anne holds a PhD in English literature from King’s College, London where she taught undergraduate courses and provided essay writing tutorials prior to joining GCU. Her PhD was part of the AHRC funded interdisciplinary project ‘Scrambled Messages: The Telegraphic Imaginary 1857-1900’. She has research interests in nineteenth-century literature and culture and has published on nineteenth-century print culture and the relationship between Victorian technology and art. She is currently working on an edited collection. Anne’s background is originally in education and she also has research interests in higher education and the international classroom.
