Michael Zboron joined GCU London in September 2015 to teach on our Risk Management course. Prior to joining GCU London, he took a sabbatical to finish his PhD at the University of Southampton (which initially started as part-time study). From 2009 to 2013, he worked as Technical Specialist in the Insurance Sector & Prudential Support Department of the Prudential Regulation Authority (Bank of England) where he was responsible for financial and risk analysis of the insurance sector in the United Kingdom.
Previously, he worked for A.M. Best as rating analyst for more than 7 years where he was responsible for the European non-life rating team. He also has extensive experience as insurance underwriter, both for German and London market insurers.
During his time at the Prudential Regulation Authority and A.M. Best he gave regular lectures on insurance rating analysis and insurance supervision.
