Dr Saud Taj has over a decade long teaching experience at various international universities including the prestigious University of Glasgow where he served as a Postgraduate Tutor for over 5 years. He has also served in the capacity of Lecturer in Business and Management subjects in top ranked national universities of Pakistan including the University of Balochistan and Iqra University.
He gained his PhD degree in Strategic and International Human Resource Management from the University of Glasgow in December 2014. His doctoral research was a qualitative study that investigated the implementation and outcomes of employer branding change programs across 3 foreign multinationals operating in Pakistan. He also possess an MSc degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Glasgow (2008) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Iqra University Pakistan (2005).
He is particularly interested in supervising PhD research and MSc dissertations in the following areas:
- Employer branding and talent management
- Employee engagement and psychological contract
- Strategic and international human resource management
- Signalling/communications within/across multinational organisations and their stakeholders
- The use of rhetorical strategies to promote authenticity and legitimacy in organisations.
