WiSE Centre for Economic Justice
We conduct research into economic and social equalities, gender, poverty, public policy, social history, migration and human rights issues under the broad theme of economic justice.
Our research is both theoretically informed and policy focussed and aims at improving understandings of the causes and consequences of economic and social inequalities. In recognition that societal inequalities are too complex for any one discipline, our members bring a variety of disciplinary perspectives to our research and educational activities as well as our civic and policy engagement.
New publications:
New WiSE working paper explores the gendered impacts of interest and confidence on young people’s engagement in political activism.
The publication is by Dr Silvia Behrens, the current holder of the Postdoctoral Ailsa McKay Fellowship at the WiSE Centre for Economic Justice.
