Alistair joined the Yunus centre as a PHD student in October 2023. His research is in Health Economics and the role of patient and public preferences in health technology assessment. The work is supervised by Professor Helen Mason, Professor Rachel Baker, and Dr Linda Fenocchi.
Alistair has previously achieved a BSc in Economics from the University of East Anglia and an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York. He has also worked as a Research Fellow in Health Economics at the University of Edinburgh where his work included a discrete choice experiment evaluating the preferences for treatment for metastatic breast cancer from patients, public and health care professionals.
