Andrea is Operation and Supply Chain Management professional and business academic. She completed her PhD at RMIT University, Australia, and earned Senior Fellowship of Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
She is a Lecturer in Management at Glasgow Caledonian University. Her research interests lie in the area of agile and responsive supply chain management, and the effect of digital technologies on supply chain management, ranging from theory to design to implementation.
Her research involves models and theories such as Dynamic Capabilities, Total Cost of Ownership, Complex Adaptive Systems, Innovation Diffusion Theory. She is actively collaborating with researchers in several other disciplines of operation, supply chain management, sustainability and Industry 4.0.
She is an industry-engaged academic, active in research supervision, and a member of several international scholarly associations (EURAM, BAM, CILT, CIPS).
