Anika earned her BSc (Hons) Podiatry degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2019, followed by completion of the Versus Arthritis AHP and Nurse Internship programme. In 2023, she obtained her PhD degree, which focused on the development, validation, and integration of the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foot Disease Activity Index (RADAI-F5). Anika also acquired her postgraduate certificate in Medical (Musculoskeletal) Ultrasound in 2021.
Currently, she serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the POD-SCAN project, funded by Great Foundations. Anika's primary research interests are focused on inflammatory arthritis and musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging.
