Anita Volkert
Lecturer in Occupational Therapy

Anita Volkert is an experienced occupational therapist and occupational therapy educator, currently employed as Lecturer in Occupational Therapy and is the School of Health and Life Science AHP Practice Placements Lead at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Previous to this, Anita worked in a national leadership and policy position at Occupational Therapy Australia, the Australian professional body of occupational therapists, and before that she had a history of clinical, educational, managerial, and policy roles in both the UK and Australia.
Anita completed a master's in Philosophy at Leeds Beckett University in 2019, researching educational outcomes for new graduate occupational therapists. Anita is registered with the HCPC and is a professional member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, both since 1995.
Anita is a regular contributor to a range of international textbooks and articles within the occupational therapy and AHP professions, including co-editing her recent book publication Supervision for Occupational Therapy.
