Arlene joined Phoenix Group in April 2023 with over 20 years experience in senior finance leadership roles. Prior to joining Phoenix Group, she was the Group CFO and Board Executive for Donaldson Group Ltd, having joined from Aviva plc where she was the Chief Finance Operations Officer leading Global Finance Operations and Transformation.

Arlene has held several senior global finance and strategy roles across the UK, Ireland and Australia working for Westpac Institutional Bank, Allied Irish Bank, RSA and Zurich Financial Services and consulting experience at EY.

Arlene is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant, Chair Designate of the Finance and General Purposes Committee and member of the court for Glasgow Caledonian University. She is based in Scotland with her husband and two daughters.
